CO-TEACHING BIOINFORMATICS COURSE WITH PROF. ZHIGUANG YUCHI FROM SCHOOL OF PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, TIANJIN UNIVERSITY, CHINA

The Biotechnology Study Program of the Department of Applied Sciences, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, State University of Malang, held a co-teaching session for the Bioinformatics course (NBTK236113) on September 10^th, 2024, with Prof. Zhiguang Yuchi as the guest lecturer. The event took place at Lecture Building B20, 2st floor, and was attended by biotechnology program students and those interested in Bioinformatics.

This activity focuses on the Observation of 3D structure protein by using Cryo EM. The session began with an introduction to Tianjin University, followed by material. After the presentation, it continued with a discussion with students.

It is hoped that this co-teaching activity can continue to improve students’ understanding through visualization of micro and nano scale materials commonly found in biotechnology education. This activity can support the achievement of SDGs no. 4 which aims to improve the quality of education, and no. 17, fostering collaboration to achieve common goals.
