GUEST LECTURER WITH PROF. DR. SHINJI DEGUCHI FROM OSAKA UNIVERSITY, PROF. ZHIGUANG YUCHI TIANJIN UNIVERSITY, AND DR. ADULSMAN SUKKAEW FROM YALA RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY

The Biotechnology Study Program of the Department of Applied Sciences, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, State University of Malang, held a Guest Lecturer session from three different overseas universities, they are Prof. Dr. Shinji Deguchi from Osaka University; Prof. Zhiguang Yuchi from Tianjin University; and Dr. Adulsman Sukkaew from Yala Rajabhat University, on September 10^th, 2024. The event took place at Lecture Building B20, 2st floor, and was attended by biotechnology program students

This activity focuses on Acedemic Programs and Research Partnership for STEM: Pathways for Student Engagement and Collaboration. The session began with an introduction for each University, followed by material. After the presentation, it continued with a discussion with students and submission of certificate for each lecturer.

It is hoped that this Guest Lecturer activity can continue to improve students’ understanding through visualization of micro and nano scale materials commonly found in biotechnology education. This activity can support the achievement of SDGs no. 4 which aims to improve the quality of education, and no. 17, fostering collaboration to achieve common goals.
